Public Buildings Post COVID-19: Bahraini Architects' Perspective

The year 2020 has been an exceptional one worldwide; it imposed new norms on the ways of living and business as usual practices. With outbreak COVID-19 in December 2019, a sudden shift was witnessed many sectors such education, transportation, tourism, construction, health business. Health safety measures enforced either abandonment some buildings schools, theaters, malls, other public buildings, or stay-at-home option nations. Residential therefore, became places to rest, study, work, entertain, alternating occupancy based protocols. This research investigates how altered impacted use cases crisis lockdown. It then future post COVID-19, referring sustainable smart way ahead. Features are compared requirements literature review. Finally, this paper also provides insight into Bahraini architects' vision COVID-19.
